The film has been in the news lately for its quirky lead jodi. The flick is helmed by Tevar director, Amit Sharma. Talking about the film, Amit earlier said, "It's very real and easy to relate to. What is funny for others is a matter of serious concern for the family." Ayushmann is teaming up with Junglee Pictures for the second time after their first successful collaboration with Bareilly Ki Barfi. "My brother and Sanya share a good bonding as they worked together on Dangal. I remember meeting her on the sets of Dangal, she had short hair, looked very different. She is a great performer. I remember shooting an ad film with her in the past. She has started from scratch and today whatever she has achieved in her career, it is on her own," Ayushmann told PTI in an interview. The film also stars Neena Gupta.
