Rejoice fans for a sequel to DC Comics' Aquaman is set to take place! It has only been about two months since the film released and flooded Warner Bros with a billion dollars worth profit. And looks like they plan to have an encore of the same.

The Hollywood Reporter just confirmed that David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who co-wrote the first film, will be returning to pen down the second instalment too. However, the return of James Wan as the director of슬롯 머신 사이트 추천Aquaman 2 is not yet confirmed. Sure, he will be co-producing the film along with Peter Safran. But only after reading the script will he make up his mind on directing the sequel.

Wan and Johnson-McGoldrick previously worked together on The Conjuring 2, the success of which is no secret. Plus, their collaboration for Aquaman has also been a good run. Perhaps they can be trusted to deliver another hit with the second instalment to DC's new superhero franchise. Opened in December to $67.8 million, Aquaman managed to cross the $1 billion mark on a global level, beating the highest collection of Warner Bros' DC movie, The Dark Knight Rises'.

Usually, right after the successful opening of films, talks between studios and filmmakers regarding sequels take place. However, Wan has taken things at a slow pace as he is in no hurry to jump back in. In fact, he is yet to commit to the project as a filmmaker as he wants to first hear out the script that will be penned down by David Leslie Johnson-Goldrick. The film will once again see Jason Momoa reprise his role as Aquaman.
