Shane Nigam had reportedly changed his hairstyle after consulting with the crew of both Veyil and Qurbani. The director of Veyil, Sarath Menon, had stated that Shane Nigam was not being cooperative on the sets. The filmmaker mentioned how Shane walks in late for the shoot and films his scenes for 15-30 minutes and then heads back to his caravan.
