Talking about the film, Madhura Raja hit the theatres on April 12. Helmed by Vysakh, the movie received mixed reviews from the critics and audiences alike.

Sunny will soon make a Tamil and Malayalam debut as well. She is working with the shooting of Tamil film Veeramadevi, where the actress dons the role of a warrior princess. She will also make her way to Malayalam cinema with a film titled Rangeela. Helem by Santhosh Nair, the film is bankrolled by Jayalal Menon. The film also stars Suraj Venjaramoodu and Salim Kumar in pivotal roles.
