The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the revised exam results for the Assistant Loco Pilots (ALPs) and Technicians recruitment 2018 online at the official website; rrbcdg.gov.in and other regional websites. Students were eagerly waiting for the board to release the scores as the next stage exam was slated to begin in January and there was not much time left for the preparation. According to the result data as released by the Indian Railways, about 13,00,869 candidates have qualified in total for the next stage. In the earlier results declared on November 2, about 6 lakh candidates were announced qualified. But after the candidates raised objections, the conducting body decided to recheck the results. Those who have successfully qualified in the revised result, will now appear in the RRB ALP and Technician second-stage CBT. The online examination is scheduled to be held on January 21, 22 and 23, 2019 at various exam centres across the nation. The admit cards will be available four days before the examination date about which the candidates will be informed to download the same through SMS, e-mail and also notice on the website of RRB.

The second-stage exam will consist of two parts: Part A which will have questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science & Engineering and General Awareness. Part B will have questions from the relevant trades.

RRB ALP first stage exam was held from August 9 to September 4 in which above 47 lakh candidates appeared. Through the recruitment drive, 64,371 vacancies will be filled in the Indian Railways.
