The district administration had traced its origins to the 13th century to show historical linkage of the art to the region. In Odia, 슬롯사이트˜Tarakasi슬롯사이트� is a combination of two words - 슬롯사이트˜Tara슬롯사이트� (wire) and 'Kasi' (design). During Durga Puja, artisans of Cuttack also create 슬롯사이트˜medhas슬롯사이트� (tableaus) with intricate filigree patterns, the officials said.
