Forbes Calls Kylie Jenner 'Self-Made Billionaire' on Latest Cover, Magazine Faces Backlash

Former Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kylie Jenner is worth USD 900 millionaire at the age of 20 according to Forbes. The business magazine states that the young international celebrity is set to become the "youngest-ever self-made billionaire". Jenner glows on the Forbes's August 2018 cover in a black business suit which reads, "$900 million cosmetics queen-Kylie Jenner" It further reads: 'Welcome to the era of extreme fame and leverage'. But not everyone on the internet could agree with descriptions.

Social media sprung up with reactions saying that she is not 'self-made' and Jenner's career was influenced by her famous family. Different responses came in, while some supported Forbes' statement, others did not. Here is one of the reaction:

With multiple reactions pouring in Dictionary.com tweeted the link of the Forbes article saying, "Self-made means having succeeded in life unaided. Used in a sentence: Forbes says that Kylie Jenner is a self-made woman." The Twitter handle also tweeted saying that the "searches for the meaning of "self-made" are up by 18,628% on http://dictionary.com today".

However, the youngest in the Kardashian clan will soon take the spot from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg who got the status at 23. She is 27th on Forbe's list of richest self-made women in America amongst the likes of Barbra Streisand ($400m), Beyonce Knowles ($335m) and Taylor Swift ($320m).
