New Delhi, October 17: Pankaj Oswal, a Swiss industrialist of Indian origin, has accused Ugandan authorities of illegally detaining his 26-year-old daughter, Vasundhara Oswal, executive director of PRO Industries. In an open letter to the Ugandan President, Oswal claimed his daughter has been imprisoned since October 1 without trial and denied basic rights, including access to family or legal representation.

According to Oswal, Vasundhara슬롯사이트™s arrest stems from a USD 200,000 loan taken by a former employee for which the Oswal family acted as guarantors. After the family refused to repay the loan, the employee allegedly fled Uganda and was later apprehended in Tanzania with evidence of the theft.
